If you check out any of my website pages such as https://pearlayon.com/?page_id=12 you’ll see that the twitter sidebar widget from Jetpack isn’t working. I followed the instructions perfectly. I use this widget on another site and it works just fine.

I created the widget on the twitter site, and copied the code into the jetpack widget on my wordpress site. The Twitter Timeline sometimes appears for a brief second as it’s uploading, but then disappears and leaves just a large empty space where the timeline should be. Any idea on what it could be?

    Thanks.

Well not sure what I did, but decided to select on the layout buttons…

    Layout Options:
    No Header
    No Footer
    No Borders
    No Scrollbar
    Transparent Background

And saved and then it started working. Backtracked slowly to see if it was a specific layout feature that was triggering my issue but now the widget works even without any of the buttons selected. But somehow it started working after this.

I’m pretty sure I wasn’t screwing up elsewhere, I’ve been working on this for the past couple hours and seen the problem with several other people on other threads.

I’m glad it’s working for you. If you see this again, I’d right-click and choose Inspect Element (in Firefox and Chrome) and check to make sure the code is being added. If so, the issue may be on Twitter’s end.

I’d also be curious about any Console errors.

In either case, please do ping us if you have it happen again.

    Cheers!

I have the exact same issue….no tweets showing up. The Widget shows up…has the widget title and color…has My Tweets but nothing shows up.

I tried that Options select but still no tweets showing up. Moved to different place on page thinking it wouldn’t fit…inspected element…on the My Tweets line….html code reads <body><body/> then the iframe code…wish I could copy and paste …appreciate any assistance

oops forgot to add my site….megglassassociates.com

Same issue as MegfromCT, no tweets, just widget title and empty link.

It appears the script isn’t being added. When I add a text widget with the full script that Twitter supplies the Jetpack widget also works.
