Categories Not Displaying On Front Page

  • Hi

    I have set up 10 categories in WordPress and want
    all 10 categories to appear on the front page of
    my blog.

    As far as I can see the only categories that are
    appearing are the ones I have already posted to.

    I will be posting to all of them over the coming
    weeks but I want them all to appear on the front
    page even though I havent posted to them yet.

    Any ideas on how I can achieve this would be
    appreciated.

  • If your theme is using the template tag wp_list_cats() then you will need to use the hide_empty=0 parameter. If there is more than one parameter then use &hide_empty=0

    The WordPress default theme uses this template tag in the sidebar.php file.
