Half booked days not displaying

Please try this. Select all the days, and reset them.
Reselect days for what group you need to make, but a day shorter. Because the Morning Check out will automatically book half of the next day.
Please write if this did not work.

In the back-end I see that the dates are correct: checkin on July 1, checkout on July 5. So I’m guessing it’s some error in the rendering of the frontend calendar.

Maybe I should clarify my question a bit more. I would want it to look like this:

But I just noticed it will only show half days when fully booked. My reservation is not fully booked, and there are still rooms available. Is it possible to show it as half days too?

When you changed the colour for the reserved days, you changed the colour for special days too.
Because your selection is working correctly.
