  • You will need to disable, temporarily, ALL Javascript, other than that from CF7, including anything in your theme, if you actually want to get to the source of the problem.

If doing that solves the problem, you can then add back each item, until you find the real cause of the problem.

See Contact Form 7 Email Issues – there is a link there that covers Javascript Conflicts.

This is an issue for us as well.

I tried creating some new contact forms, new pages, and no matter what it doesn’t work…just get spinning wheels.

We did not add ANY plugins or allow any to update so I don’t think this is a conflict.

Is there ANOTHER workaround or fix. This seems to be all over the internet and yet NO solutions. I would think that if there IS a conflict that the makers of Contact Form 7 would prescribe something to fix it.

RE: other then plugins is there any other javascript ?

As I mentioned in my comment and in the link I pointed you to, there may also be Javascript in your WP theme, which is often the cause of these problems.

RE: how do i disable all javascript ????

Easiest way to disable ?Javascript in your WP theme is to switch, temporily, to a WP Default theme.

The thing is. I believe it’s not a theme problem. The contact form was working perfectly fine till WP updates. Then from some point on from the updates it started causing conflicts. Is it possible for a WP update to create conflicts between plugins that were working fine previously? Though i have tried to deactivate all plugins and still had the same problem… Not sure.
