    Hi,

The basic process to modifying a default theme is:

    1. Create a child theme — allows you to modify a default theme without it being overwritten when the plugin is updated
    2. Add custom CSS styles, layout, transitions, etc. to your child theme to override the default styles, etc.

If you can tell me where you’re running into issues I would be glad to provide more information.

Yes, I need more help. I have been able to modify captions on my homepage with a CSS manager plugin. The problem is I don’t know how to tell the names of the classes / IDs that I need to change.

Hi, the lightbox title’s style can be changed using the .slb_template_tag_item_title selector.

See the “Style Template Tags with Specific Properties” section in this tutorial on customizing SLB theme styles for more information on targeting specific template tags.

maybe you can just provide a code for functions.php to remove the google font? don’t want it loaded here.

    thanks.
