• I have the been using wordfence security and lately every time i get a notice to update a few hours later I get a notice from Namecheap that someone is trying to inject code into my site. Yesterday I made some changes to my Wordfence settings and also added another url so now I have two sites. Now today I get this email.

    Wordfence found the following new issues on “Deal YO YO.Net”.

    Alert generated at Thursday 1st of May 2014 at 06:09:36 PM

    Warnings:

    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/jetpack/readme.txt
    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/one-click-child-theme/readme.txt
    * Modified theme file: wp-content/themes/twentyeleven/header.php
    * Modified theme file: wp-content/themes/twentythirteen/header.php

    So I have looked at the site with my through google webmaster tools and there are no problems also I did a scan with another software product and found no problems so I don’t know what else to do. I am not convinced I have been hacked but I don’t know that I haven’t either? Any help would be appreciated. My site url’s are https://dealyoyo.net and https://www.justcoolwine.com thank you again.

  • I’f you’ve updated the themes and plugins lately then you don’t need to worry. I’ve seen that as well and all it’s telling you is that a file has changed, and since I have updated those files I have known that it’s all OK.
