Pop up lightbox remains inactive/dark

Hey,
Just installed the plugin and when i click on ‘Add schema’ from page or post, the ligthbox pops up but never becomes active. My whole screen becomes dark and remains as dark. If try to click on, the light box closes. I have uninstalled, reinstalled but doesn’t work. I have installed it in a different wordpress but same result. Not sure what am i doing wrong! Or is it the plugin! Could anyone help me pls. I am not a programmer by the way.
