Control the number of blog posts on homepage

    how can i change the number of posts displayed on the homepage .. I installed pagenavi as suggested and only wanted to display 8 posts on the first homepage … please help..

    That was too easy .. i got it done from the Settings >> Reading >> Max Blog posts to show on blog page = 8 … just got too much confused .. i need a coffee … :p ??
