Plugin should not cache pages with mysql connection errors
-
Hello guys. This is the brief: when for any reason the database server is down, the webpages will show a blank page with this message: “Error establishing database connection”. The problem is that W3 Total Cache is detecting this as a modification and is caching the error page, and showing it even after the error is solved.
I have some websites where the TTL for cache is about 6 hours, and if the db server is down for, let’s say, one minute, and somebody visit that page in that instance, the error page will be cached and remain showing an error until TTL is reached. Awful!
Can you fix this behaviour? Any way for the plugin to detect connection errors?
Thanks!
