• Hi All!

I’m having a very difficult time figuring out why my posts are formatted so much differently than the main post on my blog. If you click on the first post on my blog, you will see that the line spacing and links are not consistent with my post on the homepage of my blog. The reason I’m having so much trouble is because they use the exact same div and I can’t figure out why it’s being formatted differently. I hope I’m explaining this properly.

The main page that looks the way I want it:
    https://www.theghub.com/blog/

Where I’m having the post formatting problem:
    https://www.theghub.com/blog/?p=5

Shall I keep bumping this or should I just start a new thread?

These 24 validation errors might be part of the problem? Try fixing those once, see what happens..

swamyg1, starting a new thread wont get you anywhere, it will just be locked. If no-one replies that’s sort of the way it goes, unfortunately. We are ALL unpaid volunteers, so patience is a good thing to have.

thanks spencer, I’ll work on the validation problems and report back:)

Only thing I can suggest is compare your single.php to your index.php and make sure they really do “match”. Alternatively, delete single.php – wp will then simply load the post permalinked pages into index.php.

For a reasonably coherent discussion of how that works: Template_Hierarchy
