The same happened to me. I was happy to update since 2.0.x was finally working with my Gantry templates, but this update breaks the site.

@windvanger & @maldonado – To the best of our knowledge we had corrected the issues faced with the Gantry based themes with version 2.0.59 … have there been updates to that plugin between then and now?

@photocrati the Gantry plugin is still at version 4.1.1 and was released in January. The update (2.0.59) of your plugin was after this release. How can this problem reappear?

@windvanger – I cannot say, we may need a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) on this with your site specifics so we can have a look at what might be causing the issue on your site.

We will need log in and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation as well, please include those with the Bug Report.

    Thanks!

Just an additional note on this. All the sites that I have use Gantry Template. All display a “>” at the beggining of the page. With the update 2.0.65 still happens.

I reverted to version 2.0.40 and it works fine. Hopefully I won’t forget not to update again NGG. The site breaks have happened a few times already with different NGG upgrades.

All display a “>” at the beggining of the page.

This would normally indicate something is breaking the parsing of the code but unfortunately without an example I cannot offer too much more.

I’ll add my voice here – both 2.0.63 and 2.0.65 have broken any Gantry based site I’ve tried them on and all display a “>” at the start of the page as described above, they also lose all css styling. WordPress 3.9

@all – As suggested earlier, please submit a Bug Report for this issue with the appropriate credentials as it would be much easier to try to get this sorted out seeing it live.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.

The issue was with the Gantry framework – Rockettheme have just updated the Gantry framework to fix the problem.

@sydatbliz, seems to be working fine with this combination:
WP 3.9.1, Gantry Framework 4.1.2 and NGG 2.0.66. I’m a happy camper now!

    This issue is resolved.

All – Thanks for the confirmation the Gantry update addresses this issue.

@rockettheme / Gantry author(s), thank you very much for this as well!

    – Cais.

No worries! Always glad to help! ??
