Keep getting “=20″‘s added to my email posts

I finally have “posting by email” working (just the regular version included with wordpress 2.0.5)
but, when i email something, it will go into my blog with a bunch of “=20″‘s here is an example:

Your mother’s so fat, she needs a watch on both =
arms because=20
she covers two time zones.
