v2.0.2 template not being used when specified in Format

In v2.0.1 there were no templates listed under Tools>EGA Templates. I created one called custom-template, and that was used for my list of attachments on my pages.
In v2.0.2 there is now a list of templates to select. On 2/26/14,
it seemed that the Large template was being used regardless of the selection under Settings>AutoShortcode>Format. I renamed Large, and thereafter the selected template appeared to be used instead. Now on 2/28, I came back to the list, and Large is back, along with my renamed version, and another template is selected (Medium-list). However, my original custom template still appears to be used on the pages.
