Widget issue with 2-day events?

    I’m having an issue with multiple-day events and how they appear in the sidebar. When I’m showing multi-day events in the sidebar, the calendar shows the event like they’re two separate events. Theres’ no way for the reader to know it’s a single event that spans over multiple days.

    Is there a way to show the first day with a date span or some other solution? Seems a little clunky.
