RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Too many redirects

    I’ve seen many topics on this, but none of these seem to be able to fix this error. I’m developing a local site on a Mac, and this error popped up yesterday. I’m not using RSS at all, it’s not a blog.

    Permalinks are ‘default’, but I tried them all, and I had to manually add an .htaccess file (and set its permssions to 777 to make it writable (??) ).

    Any suggestions?
