Remove Posted on and Author Name

    Love your theme! Works with mobile.

    The last update introduced a line below the title with a “Posted on…date…Author’s name”

    I’d love to keep up with the latest version but I do not want to show this information.

    So my question is, where do I go to remove this?

    Yes, the last update introduced those meta infos below the title as requested by one of the Techism theme user.

    Currently setting for removing those information is not available in Techism theme, I assure you that the option to enable/disable those informations will be added in upcoming versions.

    I’m trying to create a website and not a blog.
    Is it possible to disable them yet?

    Please update Techism theme to version > 2.0.7 . I have added settings to disable time, author name and various other post meta informations.(Posted on date, 2014 by author)

    Hello perumaster,

    For disabling time, author name and other meta information, you need to go to theme customizer at https://your-site.com/wp-admin/customize.php

    Click on Post Meta Setting on the located on the left side. You will see the options to disable the things there.

    On the same issue (and like others – I really like your theme!!), the thing I’m interested in, is to remove the posted-on and the author on

      pages

    , but to leave it on

      posts

    .
    The option you’ve added removes these details from posts, but leaves them as they were, on pages.
    Are you planning on adding an additional option? Is there a simple other way to remove these details from pages?

    I have just installed techism for the first time, and also have this problem. I will not be displaying any posts, just pages. I’m using a child theme, so would be happy to modify the code, but I’m having trouble locating the section to modify so that “Posted on…” does not appear anywhere.
    Thanks for a great theme. Hope I can use it.

    With the help of ‘wordpress_seo’ at https://www.fiverr.com, here is a solution:

    In the child theme style.css page, enter

    .entry-meta{display:none;}
