WP 3.9 / File Gallery plugin conflict breaks "Add Media" function

  • Anyone else experiencing issues with File Gallery plugin and WP 3.9? I was unable to add images using the Add Media button or any of the File Gallery add buttons – the modal window simply doesn’t appear. I disabled File Gallery, and voila, the Add Media button works….

    Would like to get File Gallery back in action if possible – any ideas?

    Hey @zedgee: Hmm, I cannot reproduce the problem using File Gallery 1.7.9.2. and WP 3.9. It could be a conflict wit another plugin, I really don’t know.

    Which browser and what version of File Gallery are you using?

    Greetings @aesqe – Thanks for replying. I’m using File Gallery 1.7.9.2 and the issue seems to be across all the browsers I’ve tested including Safari & Firefox (plus a colleague who is using a PC). This may be an issue with File Gallery conflicting with another plugin, but the issue disappears when I deactivate just File Gallery…. WP and plugins are all up-to-date…. Thanks in advance.

    @zedgee OK. Could you then e-mail me ([email protected]) a list of your active plugins? Or a screenshot? I’ll need to do some compatibility testing.
