I,m using midway theme. I have deactivated all plugins, changed theme to twentyfourteen. Tried out on a fresch wordpress installation. Nothing helps.

It works on another site I′ve not yet updated.

Is this a known problem? Please can you tell me when you noticed this and started working on it. I can′t imagine it is only me that is having this kind of problem.

    Thanks!

  • Don’t try to add HTML markup & then switch to using the Visual editor. That’s the fastest way to remove some (or all) of your markup due to a known issue with TinyMCE. Pick an editing tab and stick to it.

    Sorry now I don′t understand.
Do you really mean that I shouldn′t toggle between tabs?
First, I have removed TinyMCE and it still doesn′t work. I also removed WPEdit with no luck so you can exclude them.
Second, sometimes you need to use the text tab to modify your code that is not visible in edit mode.
This is something that started with the 3.9 version. It worked before.
It seams to me that wordpress does some cleanup with the code but it works to good.

My solution: I use the HTML Raw plugin to embed HTML code that you don′t want to be changed by wordpress. Works fine with the pro version.
