Plugin installed & configured, js library loads, but _idl_test=1 shows nothing

That is correct. The only thing that the test does is to confirm the js library loads. If there’s no active campaign, it doesn’t actually load any placeholder or anything, just shows where the banner/modal would go if there was a campaign.

Wait, hold on, just looked at your sites. Gimme a minute. It’s possible they stopped using the test?

Anything is possible… In this case it seems likely.

I reported the issue on the developer Google group. There hasn’t been much activity on there in a while so maybe something changed or I dunno. Leaving this open until it gets figured out. Thanks for reporting it. ??

The Internet Defense League campaign seems to be idle. Fight for the Future seems to make new sites for each of their campaigns. They have another campaign coming up soon that I’d like to participate in on the above mentioned sites.

Is it feasible to continue bolting on support for these other campaigns in the Cat Signal plugin? Or would it perhaps be better to change the name & scope of the project to become a more generalized method of facilitating this type of Internet activism? FFTF seems to be behind much of it, including the Internet Defense League.

The idl_test is no longer functional as far as I am aware. I know they are testing internally and they linked to this plugin on their new site, so I assume that means that the plugin will work, but you can contact them directly via the google group if you want to make sure.
