Struggling with Insert/edit image

    Couldn’t get the Insert/edit image icon to show when using v4.0.1 on WP 3.9, so I installed v4.0.2-beta. That does show the icon but it’s lacking in detail/function – for instance, I see no options for setting up or editing mouseover effects.

    I’ve tried all of the plugin deactivation and cache-clearing advice but it made no difference.

    Any thoughts?

    FWIW, I had my host restore a full backup (dated 10th April), now I’m back on WP 3.8.3 with TinyMCE Advanced 3.5.9.1 and everything is usable again.

    I’ll mark this topic as “resolved” because, although issues remain concerning the version of TinyMCE bundled with WP 3.9, I’m fine with my workaround.
