I think it has something todo with the character encoding, but one way to fix it. Is to set it to ‘custom content’, then just insert the link to the page and fill in your own description. This solution will always work.

Why not add an option to directly specify the link (not plugin looking for by the name of post?)

Yeah that would also be a solution, probably better in the long run.
