How to add a 1px line between sidebar widgets – twenty twelve theme

Have you tried using CSS for this? What CSS have you tried? Where did you put it?

what about adding this to style.css of your child theme or via a ‘custom CSS’ plugin:

.widget { border-top: 1px solid black; }
.widget:first-child { border: none; }
