Hi guys, you all do a great job and by spending your brains to develop such applications and free us to only apply our minds on things which we can do.

Till now I have been using another source to sell my digital products. But now I want to use EDD. Can you do a favor and let me know how can I get PayPal notifications on my email too along with EDD notifications for every sale. I saw I only gets email from EDD but not from PayPal. Is there a way to receive from both.

Will I receive a revert in this thread only or I need to post a new?

You will get notified here, you just need to be patient. Today is a Holiday for much of the world.

To enable notifications, go to Downloads > Settings > Emails and enter your email in the Admin Sale Notification option.

I am really sorry if I have offended you. I have already placed my mail ID there bust just now I realized that I was getting my PayPal emails in my spam folder. Silly I didn’t noticed that earlier.

Now my only concern is that the Add to cart button is displayed at the end of description or on the sidebar through downloads widget. I am using 2014 theme. Can I display the Add to cart on top of description too??

Not a problem, glad to hear you got it resolved!

To move the add to cart button, disable the automatic output and then use the [purchase_link] short code to put the button where you want: https://screencloud.net/v/vDQW

hey dear I got an email from the buyer that he is not able to find the downloaded file and he wants again. I set limit to two times so he will not be able to use the same link.

Is there a to find which file to be sent as I have hundreds of them in my Media?????

You can go to Downloads > Payment History and click “Resend Purchase Receipt” on his payment. That will give him access to download it again.

Ok I found when I go to Reports and then logs it shows me the file name along with downloads title. But when I click on it, it remains on the same page. It would have been great if there could be any link that could take me to downloads page sold recently. Thanks

Are you referring to the frontend page for the product?

    Thread Starter Nerohere

    (@nerohere)

yes I am referring to either the frontend or either the page editor. If I have content of the download which has been purchased then I can search on my system which file I have to send. If it does take me to the editor page then I can even see which file has been attached.
Is there a way we can get the url of the download which has been purchased?

    Plugin Contributor Pippin Williamson

    (@mordauk)

You can’t send download links for specific file downloads, only for complete purchases that have already been made. To do this, simply go to Downloads > Payment History and click on “Resend Purchase Receipt”.

    Thread Starter Nerohere

    (@nerohere)

I know we can resend the purchase receipt. What I want to know is that suppose I have 1000+ downloads and the one which is purchased does not have any file attached because I forgot at the time of saving it. In this scenario the one who buys will not get any file to be downloaded while he should.
So if I have the link to the download page then I will be able to edit it and then attach the file to it.

    (@mordauk)

To add a file to it, simply go to Downloads, search for the download name, and add a file to it.

I’m sorry but I don’t really understand what the issue is.

Let me explain in detail. I am a programmer and sell tutorials

Suppose I have 100 Java tutorials on my website with title “JAVA”
The permalink of subsequent downloads will be Java-1.html, Java-2.html, Java-3.html, Java-4.html & so on
Now suppose a download with permalink Java-15 is purchased and it does not have any file attached.
If I find Java I will get 100 downloads with name Java and have to open each one to find which one do not have file attached.
Is there other way for this whereby I get the URL of the purchased download so I can edit directly?
