One Touch Theme has established column widths

I use a theme called Metro One Touch by Crumina
It includes a plugin called Visual Builder that lays out a post with modules like a widget. These columns have fixed widths. The plugin includes a module for shortcodes so Shashin works as the image editor.
I want the shashin shortlink to allow the largest image possible.
The settings are sizes plus column settings. I understand that both cannot be ‘max’ but what is combination that works for largest allowed?
What do the 1-5 column values represent? number of columns? size in ? what?
