Re-arranging/deleting sections on home page layout

  • I want to remove sections of a theme that is on my homepage. If you go to my website (www.brightstartstudios) I want to remove the “latest News” and the “features” slidebar section off of the layout of the page. I think the code is hardcoded because I can’t access it through the css (I don’t think).

    I want the layout to be exactly what mageewp.com website looks like:
    They have a title and then the three featured pictured links below the title. Its right under their header slideshow, and thats where I would like mine.
    Is this possible to change the actual layout or delete a section of a page within a theme? I have the cubby theme.
