Widget shift-clicking in Customizer

  • Shift-clicking of widgets in the Customizer to open/edit them does not work with 3.9 WP/2012 theme site but does with 3.9 WP/2014 theme. Anybody know where this rollover message lives in 2014 theme? I would like to get it working in the 2012 theme too. The rollover message is: “Shift-click to edit this widget”.

    FYI-1… I have child themes…
    FYI-2… Disabling plugins doesn’t change things.
