The final piece of my Nav Bar needed
-
Hi
I am part way through my new theme based on Kubrick, I have spent the last how-many-hours getting the Navigation Bar to work, it’s looking pretty sweet except for one thing…
The ‘current page’ should be displayed as Orange in the Nav Bar, and is controlled by the div class ‘first_menu’ (i.e. when you click on a nav bar link, it becomes orange for that page) but I can’t figure out how I am going to do it.
One workaround is to create a new template for each of the pages in the Nav Bar with first_menu surrounding the current page link, but that is messy. Is there an easy PHP solution? I am sure there is but I am rubbish at PHP coding.
Note – the CSS for the Nav Bar is currently in the style tags, I’m yet to create a separate CSS file until it is sorted.
I hope somebody can help!
Max
p.s. what do you think so far – my aim is Kubrick style simplicity but really sleak.
