• Recently I did two things for my company’s blog (3.8.2 theme):
    1. Moved off of Bluehost and on to GoDaddy’s new cPanel Hosting
    2. Changed blog URL (now blog.crane-usa.com)

There have been few troubles thus far in finalizing the transfer but now that I want to upload media, I get an error:

““MEDIA.JPG” has failed to upload due to an error
The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2014/04.”

I am not very knowledgeable in code and am unsure about how to fix this. I have a wp-content/uploads folder so I am assuming this has to do with myPHPAdmin, but no idea where how to find the answer to this after much searching.

Thank you in advance and if you need more information please let me know and I will share what I can (if I know how to… lol)

UPDATE: I have been researching a lot about this issue and it sounds like it may have something to do with folder permissions, does anyone have insight?

SECOND UPDATE: Changing permissions was not the answer, even tried 777. The issue comes from something with the location my blog is trying to access images:

    https://i1.wp.com/www.blog.crane-usa.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/QueenCityCookiesBaconSchneckenProduct900_grande.jpg?resize=584%2C389

Is this normal, because i1.wp.com as a part of the path doesn’t seem to make much sense…

THIRD UPDATE: With no plugins active, it appears that the wp-content path has changed and now is trying to pull images from https://www.blog.crane-usa.com instead of blog.crane-usa.com. The blog is a subdomain on our GoDaddy website, and hosted by GoDaddy.

Does ANYONE have advice? We need to get this fixed as soon as possible and it’s REALLY frustrating when there’s no one to connect with about this issue other than through forums where no one replies… Moderators, please advise. I can provide more details as necessary.

Still have not figured out my issue despite crawling the internet for solutions. Again 2 problems:

    1. cannot upload ANY media – just says there was an error
    2. cannot load media already in posts – server is trying to pull them from https://www.blog.crane-usa.com instead of blog.crane-usa.com for some reason.

No plugins active, tried resetting to defaults, changing permissions, and still nothing.

Anybody? GoDaddy support claims 24 hour response time, yet it’s been 48 hours. Really would love SOMEONE’s response here or there.
