Changes to the code deosn't make a difference after removing W3 Total Cache.

I installed W3 Total Cache yesterday. Today I needed to change some style properties in the css, but after uploading and overwriting the style sheet it seems like it doesn’t change anything.
After that I simply removed all the line, but with no style sheet at all the website still loaded with a sheet. I cleared my browser’s cache, cleared the W3T cache, but nothing. Then I uninstalled the plugin and deleted all the files associated with the plugin that remained in the wp-content. It didn’t solve my problem.
Where do I find the real cache folder. I’m using a shared host, and have a few other websites of mine besides this one on the same server.
Please help me, there must be an easier way to solve this problem than reinstalling wordpress.
I think I had all the cacheing features enabled besides the CDN.
