After Update-Warning: Illegal string offset

Hi

I just upgraded from 1.3.7 to the most recent version of the theme. I am using the child theme for customization. Deleted the old parent file and Uploaded the zip file from my admin console.

Now I see the following message on the header of my blog. Someone please help out
