    Hi guys,

I have installed though not yet set up BadgeOS, but I noticed my site had slowed down quite a bit. It is taking from 25-40 seconds to load (even I was board waiting for it).

I’ve ran ‘P3 – Plugin Performance Profiler’ several times and each time it’s come back with the same result that BadgeOS is taking 8-10 seconds to load (I’ve ran 4 tests at different times and this is the range).

It is responsible for 30-36% of the load time.

Am I alone in experiencing this?

Does anyone know of a resolution or can you point me to a source of information?

    Many thanks, Dice

Hi Dice, sorry to hear about this issue coming up. This is the first I’ve heard of performance issues, at least in a long while.

Please don’t think of this as me doubting in any way, but do you think you could screenshot some of the P3 results for me to see? Any of the reports that offer lots of details would be ideal. That’d help me get a hopefully better picture of what it’s seeing.

Also, where is the slowness occurring? Frontend? WP Admin? both?

Not seeing anything standing out from my network tools tab in my developer panel, so not sure it’s any static scripts being an issue.

I just ran that test and it was 0.0536 seconds. We are also running 8 cores. Percent is relative to what you have installed, but it was running about the same as bbPress.

I would check with your host. Outside of a plugin conflict, I would guess your host is throttling you. If you use a shared host the amount of server requests required could be making your host limit your resources. Bluehost is notorious for this, but most other shared hosts also throttle their customers.

    Any changes to this dice2dice?

    Hi Michael,

Yes it is much faster now.

I reviewed then changed my hosting package, moved to maxCDN and uninstalled several Plugins that were causing drag and conflict.

Net result is it is BadgeOs is much faster.

    Thanks
