• Just saw an update for WooCommerce plugin and did an update. After updating message displayed on Dashboard page was: WP Menu Cart Pro could not detect an active shop plugin. Make sure you have activated at least one of the supported plugins.
Also noticed that the Woocommerce icon on left side of dashboard has disappeared. Product page on website does not load. home page is loaded instead.
Please help ASAP since by website is down.
    Thanks

  • Same thing happened to me

    Are you running Wordfence?

If you are it’s likely to be the problem as there’s a bug in it.

Click on the Wordfence plug in thing in the left hand side menu of your dashboard

Go to ‘Options’ at the bottom, then scroll down to ‘other options’ uncheck the box ‘Disable XML-RPC for DDoS protection’ and save changes. It installed after that

Could be totally unrelated of course, so be wary of any advice I give out, as I’d be a long way from knowledgable. All I know is my own update wouldn’t install until I performed this, although I got a series of different error messages and hadn’t hit the issues you’ve got. Mind you, if you aren’t running Wordfence you can safely discount my answer

No, I am not using Wordfence.

Hi, just wanted to weigh in here since you’re referring to an issue we just fixed. We got a lot of negative feedback re the disable XML-RPC feature we released in Wordfence a couple of days ago so we just put out a release that gets rid of the feature. So if you do have any issues related to XML-RPC being disabled because of Wordfence, just upgrade to Wordfence 5.0.3 and it will be resolved.

    Regards,

    Mark Maunder – Wordfence creator.
