After placing an event submission form on the site, persistent errors emerged.

    1. Non-logged-in users are unable to view forms. They simply receive the error, “Unauthorized Access. You do not have the rights to manage this Event.”

    2. While the test email fires correctly upon configuring the plugin, no confirmation emails will send upon submission of an event form. This issue persists regardless of what emails are entered.

    3. Submitted events are automatically published, not pending approval. There is no way I can find in the plugin configuration to change this.

#1 and #3: try to check user capabilities under events > settings > general

#2: can you try to change your mail sending method to SMTP then your gmail account just to see if this works?

also, to avoid any confusion please post one question per topic/thread.

Thanks for the response. The options that I needed were in the user capabilities menus.
