Date Picker, block past dates

Hi,
I know there are solutions to get the datepicker to restrict dates that involve using jquery. If we were running a small site adding the jquery would be feasible, but we have a multisite with over 300 sites and more than 50 webmasters all with different needs, so the jquery isn’t viable for our situation.

I am wondering if there is a plan to add this functionality, so that a webmaster for one of our sites could configure this using the GUI without having to code (in fact, they can’t code anything, because we control that centrally).

Sorry if this is rehashing an old thread, but I could not find one.
