Single sign-on WordPress and phpBB2 forum

  • Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have some kind of a singel sign-on system for WordPress combined with a phpBB2 forum?

    My site contains of a WordPress ‘home’ and on this homepage a link to a forum (in the same domain) in phpBB2.
    Currently users have to login twice if they want to react on topics on the blog and on the forum.

    The databases are both running in a MySQL5 environment.

    Hopefully there are some guru’s over here that have a way to build single sign-on for this construction…
