backdate post dates & import datas from phpmyadmin

  • Hi,

    I have an old site with lots of info, especially texts which I would like to import into my new wordpress blog, is there a way where I can import from phpmyadmin?

    Another thing is, how can I backdate the posted dates? I wouldn’t mind copy and paste those texts as new posts but I want to keep the original post dates.

    Please advise. Thanks a lot!
