plugin for user profiles

hi there,
would anyone be able to recommend a plugin where i can have function whereby the public can register themselves on my website, and have their own page on the website that the public can view (based on my predetermined layout) and then update it with their own images and text?
If i could incorporate a payment function as well that would be great but not essential as I could do this separately.
any help would be gratefully received
