• I will need to setup WordPress on a new hosting account before the ‘real’ domain is available to point to the new webspace.

Some hosting providers allow you access to the new webspace via IP address and username, e.g. https://12.345.0.2/~username

Would it work and be ok to set up, customise and populate WordPress like this?

Or should I get the domain owner to set up a sub-domain and point this to the new webspace?

Or what would be best? Maybe there is a WordPress host that’s set up for people without domain?

    Many thanks for your advise.
