No subject line appears when setting up newsletter

When setting up a newsletter, there is no subject line above the newsletter editor window as shown in the YouTube video so that I cannot enter the subject for emails. When saving a newsletter, the plugin says that I did not enter anything in the subject line and tries to redirect me back to the editing mode but nothing is there anyway.
Everything else works perfectly but testing emails without a subject seem weird and usually end in my spam folder :/I have discovered your newsletter plugin recently and it seems perfect and much better than the one I was using before but this little detail…
Thank you for your support. It may be caused that I upgraded recently to the latest WordPress 3.8.1 but I am not 100% sure as I was not using this plugin prior to WP upgrade…
