Tag next page not work

It should work – make sure the nextpage tag is put in the HTML-tab of the editor and not visual editor. See if that works.

I’ve tried both ways. The problem is that navigation does not appear, example page 2 / page 3 / etc.

I would like to put the tag on the homepage.
For me it would be nice to have infinite scroll through the home page, but are not capable.
If you want to help to put endless would be perfect for me.
Otherwise, help me to understand why it does not work the nextpage tag
