Permission for download file

  • Hi all,
    I have an internal website using wordpress 3.8.1 . I want to control who have permission to download file from my post.
    After upload files to Media, I create post and add files to my post, I want user1 can see file link in this post, and user2 can view this post but doesn’t see file link. How can I do it.

    Sorry,
    This is not issue, I just want to control who can see download file link in my post, who cannot. Like if you log in you can see the link, if you’re guest, you cannot.
    Please read my above post.

    will WordPress Download Manager help you? you can set the role of the users to control if they will be allowed to download or not.

    I’m trying WordPress Download Manager.

    About “Control who can access to download” I see it has only 2 options “All Visitors” & “Member Only”. Can I configure it so my member (Jack) can see download link and other members cannot ? Or I should use “Password protection” feature … Almost my users are Contributor, a few are Editor & Author.

    And it allow to add 1 file per package only ? I see “drag files here” or “select files” but … ??
