blog down–process limit error

  • The site has been running sluggish since the latest WP upgrade. This morning I was greeted with the dreaded Internal server error:

    Process limit exceeded for uid 10632 [24>-24]

    I cannot log into the admin page. The best I can do it root around in the file system via ftp to try to resolve it.

    Sounds like a PHP error. I had this happen in the past with a plugin. I removed all the plugings from my blog to try to resolve it but it has not helped.

  • I’m not getting a 500 but the site never fully loads either.
    You said you disabled all plugins. Have you recently added a code snippet somewhere that could be conflicting?
