    Hi,

    I’ve tried using Hemingway with a number of forms-related plugins, e.g. “WordPress Google Form” but the standard CSS of Hemingway always leaves all radio buttons and checkboxes hidden so that I have to resort to using drop-downs instead (which render fine).

    Is this something you could consider fixing? I’ve tried switching to another theme like TwentyFourteen and then they render fine, so I’m pretty sure it is your CSS. I’ve had the exact same issue with other plugins which want to display selections, so I’m confident it isn’t just this plugin that is buggy.

    Thanks – and thanks for an excellently executed theme!

    If you want hear my wishlist it would be:

    – To be able to use the theme for non-blog webpages, being able to switch off (without adapting the theme code) blog-typical components.
    – To be able to choose and use a footer picture as easily as a header
    – To have the parallax scrolling in the footer as well as the header

    But again – thanks for a great theme!

    Hi telcopro,

    The missing radio buttons is part of a quick fix I’ve used to get the comment and search forms to play nicely, but I’ve been meaning to get around to fixing it for some time. I’ll include in the next update, promise. Until then, you can solve it by removing line 67:

    input { -webkit-appearance: none; }

    I’ll take a look at the stuff in the wishlist, but the first item should be possible without modifying the theme code. Go to Settings > Reading, and choose a static page for the front page.

    Come to think of it, you also could download v1.39 of Hemingway. It contains the required fixes, but hasn’t yet been approved by the theme validation. You’ll find it here (below “Current Version”):
