Internal server error at time of adding 144 value of checkbox

Post have the field Ingredients , In ingredients we have almost 300+ ingredients , where user can select ingredients required for recipe.
I have inserted 143 values in check-box ingredients , when I am trying to add 144th value its showing an internal server error .
When I delete value 143 and insert again it is working fine.
That means it like it is restricting to add values more than 143.

Please help how I can increase limit of values in checkbox to 500 max.
