How to disable the automatic insert of Site Title into every page

Is there a way to disable the automatic insert of a general Site Title into every page?

Right now, my site title is “Romano Law, P.C.” With only 70 characters available, I’d rather not have that automatically inserted into every page (along with the space, dash, and space that WordPress inserts on every title). I’d like to have the ability to edit each title for each page.

I’ve tried to read up on this issue and– as I understand it– I can change the Site Title by going to:

Dashboard–>Settings–>General–>Site Title

But is there any way to disable it? I tried leaving the field blank, but the space, dash, and space that WordPress inserts still comes up (and looks odd).
