  • First thank you for this great plugin!

I face a similar problem with version 1.3.
If the privacy is set before sending the post, it works fine. But in the activity stream there are dropboxes near each post which belongs to the user to change the privacy afterwards.

Unfortunately changing the dropboxes does exactly nothing. Seems like a button “update settings” is missing here. The best would be of course if a change of a dropbox setting would directly send the change to the server.

Any way to use this feature (or at least to disable it as this actually will worry the users)?

    Thanks!

    Hi meg@info,

    any news on this?

What about making a PRO version of this plugin?

    I would buy it ??

    Kind regards

Any news or hotfix on this issue?

    Hello,

Change the privacy level after one has posted the activity update work perfectly on the current version.

Can you provide me @netmax please your site link and a demo account to check the problem.

    Regards.

    Hi @meg@info,

Sure, can you give me any contact where i can send you the test account data?

Just to be sure that we talk about the same effect: I really see all the dropboxes to change the old activity events, and i can also change the dropboxes of the old activities. But what’s missing is a “submit” button to send the new dropboxes settings to the server.

Setting the values and then submit a new post works – but how is the simple change of a dropbox of an old activity posted to the server? There is a kind of “update” button missing …

There is any submit button to apply the change . The change is applied after you select the new privacy.

You can make test, add new activity, then change the privacy ( by selecting the new privacy level from the selectbox), then refresh the page (F5). You will see the new privacy level applied.

Seems to be the case only if it is an update by one self. Even if one is admin, one cannot change the privacy level of others’ updates.
It would be good if that were possible (admin able to change anyone’s update privacy level)

It’s not working even if i log in as a user.

In this case i see the change dropboxes only behind my own post – but still when i change them, nothing happens … and after a F5 the previous state is still there.

May this be some issue as i use a different (german) language? In my dropboxes there are also not the graphics before the words (“Anyone”, “Logged In Users” etc.).

My dropboxes only show just the words: (“Jeder”, “Angemeldete Benutzer”, “Meine Freunde” etc.). There are no graphics like the “globe” image in front of these words.

Hmmm, have some issues posting my reply …

I’ve checked on my site too and it’s not really working well. I thought I managed to change the privacy setting for an update but on refresh of the page it does not seem to work.
If you change the privacy setting for an update, and then make another update it may work.

I have the same issue, no change on an update and no icons
