Web Store Help!

I will stress my SOS for help. I need to get the website up and running by April 1, 2014 and time is quickly disappearing!

It’s impossible for anyone to help you without knowing a lot more about how your site is set up.

Firstly, what e-commerce plugin are you using? That’s the main thing that is needed because they all do things in different ways.

And… If it’s that urgent you may want to consider hiring someone to help. This is a volunteer run forum, so even though we all try to help as much as possible there’s no guarantee that you’ll find someone that can give you a specific answer.

Also, we are a Non Profit Organization, so hiring a web developer is not really an option, hence why I am handling the web work.

I haven’t personally used that plugin before, but if it’s like all of the others that I’ve seen the settings are fairly clearly labled, and it should be relatively easy to get everything where it needs to go. Exactly where are you getting stuck on it?

My customers go to check out and there is form for a credit card or PayPal.

So… What is your actual problem (not ‘need checkout’ but ‘settings re not working for ****’)? What part isn’t working? What settings have you got set up now for PayPal and credit cards?

If you can’t answer those or don’t know where to get that information, then you are going to find it very hard/impossible to do this yourself, even with help from here.

Oh, and one thing to remember with credit cards is that there’s some very strict regulations on taking credit card payments online, so you might want to check out what you need for proper PCI compliance.

Looks like you need to go in store settings. Make sure you have all shipping options correct. Are you running WP in debug mode?
