    Hello,

Search/Replace is a basic part of the TinyMCE editor used by WordPress.

If you have noticed a bug here.. then it would be better if you posted on the tinymce forums.

However.. WordPress will be updating to version 3.9 around April 15th. In this update.. they have included the updated tinymce code (from version 3 to version 4).

I imagine this will solve your issue when WP releases the update to version 3.9.

Yes, that I know. If you upgrade to TinyMCE 4.x series then this issue will be solved. But I’m trying to solve this in 3.5.10, so that people who don’t want to upgrade to 4.x series can have the solution. No success on this so far.

I posted this in TinyMCE forum but they don’t want to solve it for 3.x series and they are asking/forcing to upgrade to 4.x.

    Gotcha.
Well.. unfortunately, that is way out of my hands.

Core tinymce is a monster… and those guys over there aren’t the most willing to help… Even their own documentation is misleading and full of holes. But.. don’t get me started ??

So.. I’m afraid I can’t be of any more assistance to you regarding this issue. I will keep my eyes open.. and if I see anything, I’ll be sure to post it here!
