The 2.0 version is a completly new plugin. It is not a mobile theme. It is an app for users of your site. It allows users to access certain content pertinent to the user. Version 2.0 is not a mobile representation of your site. There are plenty of responsive themes available for displaying an entire site on smaller screens. There will be a release very soon with limited features and more added over time.
If you wish to keep the old theme plugin do not upgrade or you can download version 1.9.*
