Malware in Wordfence file

I am also getting the suspected malware notification.

* File contains suspected malware URL: /homepages/17/d430297989/htdocs/”mysite”/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wfBrowscapCache.php

I noticed someone else in the forum also reported this. What do I need to do to correct this?

mine came in at 01:08:12 PM today (PST), so maybe this is just a wordfence issue… rather than a hack on our sites… fingers crossed…

thanks! the thread said to just upgrade the plugin… that seemed to work.

That thread is 2 months old and it says a fix for the issue was released at that time.

That would mean that the current issue is not addressed in the current version of Wordfence.

Also I have the up-to-date version of Wordfence and was/am getting the warning.
